Last Monday I dropped my bike and broke the clutch lever. Thursday I was able to pick up a new one. I installed teh new lever... only thing was when I was removing the damaged one I broke the nub off what I would guess is the switch to make you start the bike with the clutch is. As I said to a fiend... SEE I NEEDED my MANUAL!!! D'oh!!! (I can't locate it and that too is pissing me off. :x )
Anyway... so I put the lever on and put thogether that swtich assmebly- to just see what happens. Nutting.. so I take the swtich assembly apart thinking I can test it manually. Make the metal connectors touch (or not touch) and try and start it. Still nothing. :x
Any thoughts. What am I missing? I miss my manual!!!!
Thanks!!!
take the remains of the switch off the plugs. get a paper clip or piece of wire and jumper across the the two connectors. Or if you aren't worried about it, cut them off and just twist the wire together.
Hey that worked nice. I must not have been pressing hard enough durning my test! Much bettah!
Thanks muchly!!!
AND I found my manual! HAHAHA! Isn't that always the way!
