are there any other ones besides student life?
nice
Perfect.
'cept he sleeps too long.
switch the words "school" and "class" for "work" and also substitute "beer & chips" for "dinner" and you've got my life wrapped up nicely :icon_lol:
sleep? what's sleep? :icon_mrgreen:
I se student as a relevant point. Even if you're not a student in a school as such, you are still learning somethign every day. so in essence.you ARE a student
Microbio and physics finals tomorrow. Anat and physiology on friday. toxicology and labs next week. EMT National boards soon.
Fun!
indeed. will be resident @$$hole before too long Eh?
One of these days, maybe.
And, +1 on lifelong learning. Berkeley has their own youtube channel, now. For those interested in learning, say, orgo (cough...cough... sh!t-stirring "oil guy"... cough...).
speaking of learning, i took my 2nd DOS test yesterday. scores arent posted yet but i'm confident i crushed it the same as the first one. :icon_mrgreen: i think now we'll move on to HTML. :woohoo:
funniest and most juvenile program i had ever written was in basic. all it said was f%$k you ( repeat to infinity)this was 10 years ago. i took it on a floppy to walmart. and installed in teir pc' sfor sale activated it, and walked away every pc there was cursing. and so were shoppers :icon_twisted:

DOS as in Disk Operating System? People still teach and learn that? My first DOS app was in middle school called Turtle where we wrote code to move a turtle around the screen.
You'd be suprised a couple of hospitals here in Orlando are still ran on DOS programming. One that I used to work at when they were took over by a for profit they went from XP to Dos. :cookoo:
Mary
actually, i found out from my instructor yesterday(class got cancelled cuz not everyone had taken the dos test yet) that we're gonna be spending a day or two on excell and then spend the remainder of the quarter on HTML.
it's my understanding that DOS is taught first because it is the basis on which microsoft's all subsequent operating systems were built. (someone with more knowledge on this matter, feel free to chime in) besides, it's kinda neat. the biggest downside is that it takes so damn long to do anything with it and you can't read every file, they have to be in text/ASCII format, if not, it comes up as a bunch of weird characters when you try to read them. intresting. well, to me anyways. :icon_mrgreen:
i'm really looking forward to HTML though. mainly because our final project in that class will be to design a website. it's the only class that i'm taking this quarter that is actually specific for my major. all the rest this quarter and next quarter, are the "filler" classes you have to take. (math, history, soc/psyc, first year experience etc)
Thats cool! Are you attending UD? For my marketing degree we had to take a course for web design and that was one of my favorite classes. Didn't help that I already had a basic understanding of HTML and had my final project completed by the 3rd week and was told not to worry about showing up anymore!
if u are 12
There was no internet when I went to college, so the routine went like this:
Sleep, sleep, sleep, get up, really get up, get ready, go to school, class, class, smoke pot in the parking lot, class, lunch, (or smoke more pot in the parking lot) class, class, go home, get ready for work, go to work, work, work, work, eat after work, go home, (or go out if it was a weekend) do homework or party, go to bed, repeat.
I went around the circle 3 times, hoping, praying, that maybe he would reach the weekend.
Alas. It was to no avail.
