Well i brought the newest project home today and wasted no time ripping into it tonight.The bike im stripping is a 98 with a bent frame. The bike i will be building is a 95. I am hoping to have this frame completey stripped to a bare frame and ready to through it out the back door tomorrow. Then i will roll in the frame for the start of the build. Here are some pics from how it looked when i got it home until about 20 mins ago when i dropped the motor out.

shouldnt be to bad i got it to this point in about 2 hours of work. I am hoping to have the motor in the other frame tomorrow and have everything that i have all bolted on the new frame by the end of the weekend. :cheers:

get lots of beer. im going to be getting a mid 90's yam not sure of model but its a rocket err supersport type biek. no fire. but good compression so i can get it for around 150 or so. and cleare title . heh between that and my rx7 conversion. ill have my hands full that and my health issues. geez. lol :oops: but am looking forward to it. btw josh any questions let me know ill do my best to help you out :bowdown:

Update. i fot the straight frame in at about 845 or so and i already have the motor all mouted up ill get some pics later today i want to get this thing sitting on wheels and looking like a bike again

i would budget at least 50% of your spending on beer. It has a way of making things get done. Just slower.
but seriously, nice work. Where'd you find the 2nd frame? and did you have to fix it up or paint it, etc?
I actually got 2 frames with the bent frame as a package deal. i didnt paint the frame as it is in pretty good shape and i didnt have to fix anything on the frame either. its all very solid and looks like its spent most of its time inside.

it has a small crack in it but it is for sale what would you give me for it? i actully just have to pull it off the FE the FE is off that frame now and sitting in the back room.

well i dont have any new pics as im still were i was in the last pics i have ran outta parts and im waiting for some to come in the mail. I have front and rear pegs coming rear tank mount bracket coming and the best thing is the 4 to 1 header and exhaust that i just ordered last night. I cant wait to get some more parts on this bike.

i had to sell extra parts off to buy more parts for the build.....wife said i cant spend more money then parts i sell off so this ones goin to take a bit longer then hers did. but its coming along :thumb:

no extra switches at all i did find new ones on ebay for 34 bucks with 2 keys

lol I went back and looked like it was a game of I spy.
i got 2 sets of pegs and the rear gas tank mounting brackets in today and i ordered my exhaust yesterday. should be here end of this week of first part of next week. still have more parts to pick up tho...lol
