Anyone ever think of putting a honda interceptor single side swing arm on a gs?
Interceptor doesn't fit, its over 2 inches wider.
Honda Hawk does. But you need wheel, and the whole kit and kaboodle.
Cool.

Do you just sit around waiting for someone to post? lol but thanks I figured you would know, Buddah knows all. I probably wouldnt do it but it sounds cool. Are there any drawbacks to a SSS?
Yea I sit around @ work waiting for someone to post. @ home or out, I am actually doing more fun stuff, like cutting something, welding it onto another thing and hammering the third thing with it. I actually figured out, I do have a life. Its a bit un conventional but it does count.
Now a SSSA is a heavy ass pig. Really really really heavy, so is the wheel. That was the contraption that drowned the hawk. All of that is unsprung weight too.
Most hawk racers the first thing they do (other than buy a SV650 to be really competetive) is fit a GSXR swingarm on it along with some true 180 race rubber.
SSSA is cool, but aint gonna do you no good on the crappy sheite steel frame GS.
Cool.

I sold a Hawk GT setup to somebody in indiana/michigan???? a couple of yrs ago
he/she rough installed it, posted pics, and never was heard from again
don't know if it ever was finished
the upper shock mount needs to be moved and beefed up
the hawk doesn't use a linkage, just a heavy spring
