Question:
Which Exhaust Should I Purchase?
Option 1: Vance & Hines
Option 2: Jardine
Option 3: Laser Deeptone
I am on the hunt for an exhaust again. Need to see what you guys think. Also, know any places that sell these at a good price? So far it looks like starcycles has the best deals..
Thanks,
Yev
I'm curious, why would you care what a website of strangers think you should get for your bike?
Why do you want to change the exhaust in the first place? Looks...sound...more performance...combination of the three?
I vote you get which ever is the least expensive since I don't know you and I'm cheap. :thumb:
Looks and sound.. And I am rather cheap too I guess. lol
Laser Deeptone blows the others away on sound (and looks IMO). But price is -gak- .

Then I vote for Jardine since it looks like an aftermarket exhaust (they all kinda look the same), it costs less than the laser, and I don't think it has to be moved to change the oil. I'm not picky about their sound but I am too lazy to goof with the exhaust just to change the oil.
after having been through 9 different mufflers on mine, I am currently running a vance and hines for a 86 ninja 1000. I repacked it myself, and love the growl it has.

I'm glad you appreciate the effort made to gather feedback about what a person wants before giving an opinion. I try to give answers based on what people's preferences are so that they may be as useful as possible. I figure an eight word response would be post whorish and not helpful to anyone.
I dont think any exhaust makes the GS sound good... I had a V&H and it sounded like a 4-wheeler so I went back to stock. My project GS has a Yosh full system that sounds better but still nothing great.... If you are thinking that it will give you the sound of a GSXR or something... It wont. The GS motor is a Twin and the sweet sounding "super bikes" are 4 cyl. If you want your GS to look and sound better, you need to trade it in :D

+1 on the quad sound - mines the same.
I think I am going with the V&H.. I am not looking for it to sound like a SS bike.. I just want to hear it.. (right now a Ninja 250 drowns out the sound of my stock exhaust!)

post it in the picture thread. BOT: you could run just about any can you want as long as you have the midpipe. You could take it to any muffler shop to have it tacked on or just use a muffler clamp if your able to.
You know if you wanna get creative I bet you could do something with this glasspack, it ought to be plenty loud and it is cheap.

only way to go is laser deeptone. :woohoo:
