Title: Noob - seat questions
Post by: Desert Rat on May 04, 2009, 02:53:35 PM
I have an '07.  I've searched around the net without much luck.  What's out there for aftermarket seats for these things?  Anything with a small backrest for a passenger?

I just don't find it terribly comfortable.

I hope the answer also covers '02 bikes. By 50 miles my butt is killing me.

02 i beleave you can still get a corbin seat for yours im not real sure on the 07..    the best thing i have found for a sore but is more riding.  the more miles you put on the more your ars gets used to the ride.  or you can always order a gel seat insert off the net and carve your seat and install and recover your stock seat.

there is really no option out there.  Your best option is to go to a local upholstery and have them put gel pads on the seat.  I haven't done it yet as it will cost you  $200 plus i believe.  At least here in the NW it does.

just order a gel insert and recover your seat after you put it in.  theres no need to spend 200 bucks to have someone do this the insert is 50 bucks or so and staples are really cheap.
