Title: Did I flood the carb?
Post by: Yohan on September 29, 2003, 12:56:43 PM
I stalled out today in the parking lot, but it was very strangely. Yesterday, my bike had a hard time starting, so I had to bump start it and took her on the highway to get it all charged up. Today morning, I had a hard time starting. Today in school, I was in the parking lot. The choke was full, and I was about to exit, a car in front of me was stopped, so I pulled in the clutch and started hitting the brakes. Interestingly, the bike just died. After a few long tried on the starter, she started going again, so I'm guessing it was the batteries? Did I flood the carbs? What could be wrong? I'm getting new batteries so I hope it'll fix the problem.

Mine has always died under braking with the choke on, not sure why, maybe someone could enlighten?

Serves as a nice reminder sometimes...
