Title: good evening all.
Post by: karl on May 09, 2009, 12:45:10 AM
just thought i'd spend my first post introducing my self.

firstly, a very helpfull site you have  :thumb:

i'm karl from england. 27yrs, my main job is a production supervisor for mini-marquees and my weekend business is window tinting.

i've not currently got a gs at the min. but was indeed my first bike about 4 years ago. i've now decided to get one again, but will mainly be a commuter. even though it wont look like one when its done, lol. got a few plans for it including an angle grinder and a welder!

this is my first gs. when i got it to when i sold it...

for my next one i want gloss black frame, satin black tank, seat and front mudguard. black wheels with a white rim. the seat to be chopped, shortened and lifted. jack up kit. either lowered on the front forks or rgv250 usd's. both seat and tank to be angular in style. matt black twin lights at front, custom at back. lol. that pretty much covers the costmetics.

Not a huge fan of two headlights, but I do like the green!

Welcome! Cool looking bike. I do feel sorry for you English types who have to sport the insanely large license plates though, they totally ruin the bike from behind and there's nothing you can do about it. Seriously, those things are like 8 times the size of a plate here in the states, it's like you've affixed a cookie sheet to your fender...

Looks real cool!  Not a fan of the handlebar with the brace across them, I'd have stuck with the clipons.  Just my riding position preference though.
Nice job!
