Post by: breaker950 on May 11, 2009, 03:23:21 PM
i have a 2005 GS500F and was looking to get a replacement stock exhaust, preferably without any blemishes but either way pics would help on making the decision. thanks!

I may have something that you'd want.  I'll post pics in a few...

Well, it's not as blemish free as i remember but still not too bad.  I thought the can was perfect but it's not.  There is a small dimple near the back of the can that you can see in the first picture as well as some light vertical scratching near the front that's also visible.  The rest of the pipe has a few spots of rust but nothing major.  A light sanding and coat of high heat paint would fix it.

If you want it, i'd take $55.00 plus shipping.  I have no idea what the shipping would cost for something like this.  It would be coming out of the 60089 zip and you can figure the weight to be at 25 lbs to be safe.  As far as the size...  Unusual so...  ?  Maybe if someone has shipped one of these before they can chime in with what it cost *shrugs*

I shipped one, but it was cut in half. Cost $20 IIRC.

I've got one, but the end of the can has been cut a drilled, otherwise exhaust is a-o-kay.  Bike only had 5k on it when I pulled it off.  Lemme know
