Hi Guys...First I apologize if this isnt the correct forum. I think I got it right though. After sitting for awhile I got my bike ready. Got it tuned, etc. I pinched the fuel line putting the tank back on so a couple days later I replaced one fuel line. Now the bike wont start. Not even any coughing or sputtering. Keep in mind it started and ran FINE prior to replacing the fuel line. The only change from one day to another was the fuel line. Nothing appears to be pinched.
Any ideas what I look at?

This might be too obvious, but did you turn the tank mounted petcock back to on?
...and the frame one to prime?

Hi Guys. I do have the petcock open. Actually the replacement line is somewhat see-thru so I can see fuel in the line. I have the tank valve set on reserve and I did prime it. I was curious if there is some sort of vacuum I may have lost when I pulled the line. Or if a hose can be too long. I know my buddy added 3-4 inches to the length because we were having a hard time working such a tight space. I gotta think its being pinched somewhere I cant see when we put the tank back on. It just doesnt make sense. Ran absolutely fine until we changed the line. I'm also a little stumped because even if the line were kinked, shoudlnt there be enough fuel in the bowls to start it anyways? Plugs are in and secure. Wires are tight. Choked. Etc.

Do a search for fuel hose routing. There are nice diagrams on the wiki people always link to. Follow those. Also, if you forgot the vacuum hose, the bike will only run in prime... I'm betting that either your super long fuel hose is kinked somewhere or too low (if it loops below the float bowls, that could be problematic). You could have also just hooked something up wrong. How many hoses did you pull of the carbs? Did you pull them all off, then replace them or just do the one fuel line coming from the frame mounted petcock?
Try cracking open the float bowl screws and see if any comes out. If there's fresh fuel in the float bowls, and she was runnin' fine before, it should start. Otherwise you may have other problems.
Well, back to the drawing board. Seems I have fuel in the left carb, but not the right.
I would turn the petcock to "ON" to stop fuel flow. Drain out all the fuel in the left carb. Then switch it back to PRIME and see if the left filled up again. If it doesn't you probably have a pinched line.
If the right carb isn't filling could be a stuck float needle or incorrect float settings. Whatever it is will take some digging.
