Title: New empathy for you folks up north
Post by: grayghost on May 14, 2009, 10:02:09 AM
i know alot of you guys (&girls) have to deal with the winter months, waiting until you can ride. typically by this time of year in east texas we're well on our way to racking up some serious miles on our bikes- but the monsoons have come and the rains have been so persistant that i haven't had a chance to ride much at all- and it sucks.

I'm a ski bum (skiied 33 times in 60 days this year) so snow doesn't bother me. Haha.

That being said, I'm still saving up for my bike.

Skiing/snotubing is a blast ... exept for the idiots who can get out of their own way and kids who aren't heavy enough to overcome the friction ... I cant stand these geniuses who get on the long and fast slope in the tube and freaking drag their feet all the way ...
Well same with cars, but on a GS you're crawling along slower than most of them, so you're OK. Just get ahead of them before the twisties.
Cool.
