Post by: tiptonmustang24 on May 15, 2009, 01:51:05 PM
ok my engine pops around 6500 to 7500rpm everytime i accelerate. How do you guys recommend me fixing this?

the top line is where my floats are now. should it be where the middle line is or the bottom line?

my bike ran fine before i ever took the carbs apart and rejetted btw, so i know this is user error lol

I would say the bottom line is correct.  When I check my float height I put the tube about half-way front to back.

I go by the bottom line.

Edit: Bottom to Mid will probably be ok as long as it's within 1mm

I think that popping may be a result of poorly chosen jets.
What is your setup?
What jets did you use?
