Title: WTB: Upper Clutch Adjuster
Post by: oldfast on May 28, 2009, 10:03:24 AM
I need the adjuster screw that goes on the top end of the clutch cable (threads into the perch). I could also use the rubber boot. Anyone? Can Paypal. Thanks.

erm if you are close to a wreckers then a yard would probably sell you one for a dollar or 2.  they are also a common size so do not need to take one off a GS

Unfortunately, no bike wreckers nearby. Thanks, though.

Hey, not sure if the original poster found one yet, but if he did, I could also use one well. Anyone have one? I don't feel this part is worthy of it's own post. My lever adjuster only has about 5mm of threads, so not only do I not have any adjustment with it, but there's no locking nut on it either. No bike junkyards around me either. I see some online but I'd end up paying $10 just for a bolt. I may run past the local bicycle shop a couple blocks away to see if they might have something that would fit.
