Post by: flair.14 on May 28, 2009, 01:28:24 PM
I need help identifying 2 parts for the engine. I snapped 2 photos of each part...

Does the second part do inside the shaft which holds the clutch housing?

I'm not sure about the second one, but the first looks like an oil pressure sensor?

Thank you very much. The first item is indeed the oil pressure sensor.

Now if I could only figure out what is the first item  :icon_question:

Where did it come from?  I can't tell if you removed it from something on the bike of if you bought something and it came with it?

I think it came from the engine but I cannot remember... It seemed to have some from one of the shafts. I am guessing the shaft that holds the clutch housing but I am not sure.

Clutch push rod shaft? Just a guess. Check the online parts fiche at RonAyers or BikeBandit.

Just replaced the smaller pushrod on the leftside and I had to remove that one to get the other broken piece out. Since you're in there, go ahead and order a new oil seal so you don't have to replace it later.... :whisper:
