Title: which side is the exhaust and which one is the intake?
Post by: Jenya on June 01, 2009, 05:44:46 PM
On this picture: http://picasaweb.google.com/taijinian/Cylinders?authkey=Gv1sRgCO6ZxaG2pP7SmwE#slideshow/5341111915066769650

The only clue I see is perhaps what meant to be a tachometer drive gear on the bottom left. So if that is correct, then the bottom of the picture is the exhaust side.

I am really paranoid that I may not have interpreted this diagram correctly and hence installed the camshaft bearing caps incorrectly.

Correct, the A and B caps are on the exhaust camshaft and that is the tach drive gear on lower left.
