Title: Fuel tank middle hose - it goes from tank to where?
Post by: drewbytes on June 06, 2009, 08:50:02 PM
Ok guys, I've done a silly thing and need some help. Just took the tank off, and somehow the middle fuel line got disconnected from the other end as well, and now I can't see where it connects to.

Just to be clear, it's not the on/reserve fuel lines, but the one with no clamp in middle of the tank.

Where in the world does this hose go, I must be blind but I can't see where it goes. Thanks!

Edit: 2008 model if that makes any difference.

Edit: Hmmm, is it just an overflow hose? Meaning it doesn't actually connect anywhere?

I guess I answered my own question, it's just an overflow, put all back together and running normally.

yup, that hose is so if water/gas gets underneath the gas tank ring, it can drain
