Hi guys,
I went down at the track and tore this connector. My bike wouldn't start unless I pressed the male into the female, they only need contact to start the bike, not run. Anyway, it was starting reliably until today when it doesn't start even when I'm 100% the connectors are making contact.
I had taped the two ends together and its possible water got into the connectors although I don't see any rust.
Any one know what this is or why it needs a connector? I will try to bumpstart later in the evening.

Thanks
That is the clutch sensor connector.
The bike won't start without engaging the clutch, won't even turn the starter motor.

Whoa - gotta get a privacy lock on the OTHER photos in your album unless they're meant to be public.
Yea, the 'significant other' Those are the public pics ;)
So re: the clutch sensor, what would cause it not to start if the connector appears to be making contact?
I know its not safe, but can I soder the wire until a replacement arrives?
well i would like to see the private pics then....lol...sorry ummm yeah you should be able to solder or even just butt connect them together until the replacement comes in if taping them together wont work tho i dont think soldering or butt connecting them will work.
it looks like i gotta buy the entire wiring harness for $173 + infinite install time. I have bare wire making contact, but it still wont turn over.
