Sorry, but it's the first time I've turned my Apple into a Pineapple. Anyone else????
PS. Dev-Team, YOU ROCK!!!!
Cycorder and Winterboard with Leopard OS theme INSTALLED!~~!!!!
I have no idea what that means...but it does sound cool!
In normal people terms: I jailbroke my iphone, allowing me to download non-apple approved apps that bring my old 3G iphone well past the new 3GS iPhone in functionality.
Nice! Way to stick it to the man. :thumb:

Note the fabulous ATT coverage. I live on a fuching 8 mile long island, how hard can it be to get coverage over the entire dam thing??????????????????
i have jailbreaked mine and i can use other SIM cards in it. But... it dose open the door you people begin able to hack your iphone much easier than with the normal software
You just have to be careful of what apps you load from cydia. I'm only loading the well known ones that have been around for a while. I didn't see any reason to unlock, though I would if I were to sell the phone, I'm under contract with ATT for another year. Hopefully the next iPhone will be on Verizon and I can finally have decent coverage and a subsidized iPhone.
thought about getting one, but att service around here sucks ballz :icon_confused: if i can find a jailbroken one ill use it on my tmobile plan
cool man. my G1 is unlocked, and i'm enjoying the non-contract goodness that gps+wifi+edge can bring.
nothing like googling for a business, getting directions, and a map, all within 20 seconds of needing xyz part for abc project !
i'm really loving the 'connected everywhere' thing that this current phone has. the iphone has tons more apps, but there is no keyboard. :(
someday, razor thin sliders will bend instead of break... gps will be all hardware (no software muck) and cell carriers will realize providing AWESOME coverage/service trumps discounting a new phone and shitty contracts.
someday :D
Now if Apple will just live up to the rumors and drop a touch screen tablet this year....................
I was contemplating getting the "god" phone this year I could have got one through AT&T which I like them alot. I have no drop outs in Florida, California, Massacussets, even in Atkinson NH I had no problems, actually even in Maine I was doing pretty well! I just can't justify a $90 cell phone bill right now!
So, I opted for the LG VU oh man that is one hell of a modable phone. I also like the TV that it has it is nice to watch comedy central over the constant news 13 that repeats every ten minutes. Waiting two hours for the doc makes me want to shoot myself some days! Have over 100 games though I mainly play mah jong, moto Gp, and pool, I also like having the bible on my phone which is nice because I don't have to lug mine around on Flick when going to church. Of course one day I did have to explain to pastor that I was reading the bible and not watching TV
Mary
indeed mary lol , been there done that too, ( the bible reference ;) )
I am LOVING the level of cosmetic customization available once jailbroken!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed there is much that can be done :icon_twisted:
Heh, I've jailbroke mine when it came out of the box. :D It's definitely the way to go. I mean, Pokemon Yellow on the iPod? Genius.

Me too :o
<threadjack> Spc, patton would crush them with a sizeable tank force and plant an american flag. (he wanted to do this with russia if i understand history correctly) </threadjack>
Sounds a little too much like that new commercial these two people are telling their friend about the new LG phones and he says ^^^^^^^^ then his subconscious is made audible.... "as soon as he puts that phone down I'm grabbing it and run"
LOL

The question is rhetorical and a play on popular 'WWXD' slogans. Patton didn't neccessarily want to invade/crush Russia, he just saw them as the threat they had the potential to be well before they actually became a threat. General Patton also noted the strategic weakness and vulnerability of the Pacific fleet and Pearl Harbor in the early '30's. The man could see around the corner a mile down the road, except for that one time...........
Patton was and to this day remains one of the most effective military commanders in modern history.
He also had the balls to actually stand up and speak his mind, damn the consequences. The history i've read on him, he struck me as the kind of man who truly believed if you're going to battle, do your damn best to crush them, the hell with the politics involved. modern "warefare" seems to be more politics involved, and a whole, "we don't want to hurt their feelings" kinda mentality.
back on topic: This sh!t is great. It's like a whole new phone.
Anyone paid attention to the rumors that next years model is going to have a dual core processor?
might i ask why? seriously? i mean, IT'S A CELL PHONE! okay, maybe i don't get it. it's ok. anyhow. glad you're enjoying yourself terry. :thumb:
The reason I would get an I-phone. I sit in doctor's offices a majority of my time at present. In my tank bag is an I-pod for listening to music and or pod cast, I also have a PSP thrown in just in case my doctor's office has wi-fi then I can post whore on here, my old cell phone didn't have a camera so I threw that in to try and get the pic thread on here, and then well the cell phone cause it is my only phone I don't have a house phone, and lastly the i-pod shuffle that is connected to my helmet. I couldn't imagine my big I-pod skipping down I-4 at 70 mph at least $35 is a far cry to lose over $290!
So, if I could put them into one nice neat package then yeah I'd get one. But, like I said I can't justify the monthly cost at the moment so the Rapid Transit 19 tank bag is filled with electronics!
