Post by: tiptonmustang24 on June 20, 2009, 11:55:04 PM
ok, so i found a 1998 parts bike locally, owner claims it runs....but it doesnt have a gas tank plastics, handlebars, or any controls.....everything else is in excellent condition. he is asking $200.....what would be way of starting the engine without the ignition?

When you say ignition.......what parts are actually missing?
By-passing the keyswitch is pretty simple but I am reluctant to say how its done in an open forum because I am making it even easier for the low-lifes out there to hot-wire and steal a bike.
PM me if you want instructions.

Don't you just stick your tongue on the end of the ignition plug and hit the start button??

(Don't try that! it might hurt)
