Title: OEM front fairing
Post by: commuterdude on June 21, 2009, 08:41:32 AM
I traded into a pretty nice OEM front fairing.  It has a couple of small cracks, not all the way though but they need fixing.  I have some Sun Cure fiberglass surfboard ding repair stuff, it is a tube w/ resin and chop mixed in, you squeeze it out and let the blob of goo bake in the sun to dry.   Wonder if this stuff would be ok to fill the cracks on the fairing?   Then just sand it down and hit it with the black rattle can.

I would do a test patch first. Autozone sells a nice Fiberglass repair kit for under $20.
