Title: My 2009 GS500F, lovin' her so far.....PIC
Post by: Bridger on June 28, 2009, 04:01:38 PM
I'm new here, so I figured I better put a pic of my girl on here.  Picked her up less than two weeks ago, brand new 2009.  Got 620 miles on her already(time for my first service).  Got some mods done already.  Many more to come.  I really like these Chaparral mini stalk signals( full set about $35 shipped).  This bike is kinda quick in my opinion.  It's tough as heck to keep it under 80.....Will pull the front tire off the ground on a hard 1-2 shift 8) Can't wait for a 14 tooth sprocket....Should help to slow me down on the highway also(which I need).

Not sure how to post a link, but it's : www.chaparral-racing.com, go to street, electric, lighting, marker lights, go to page 2 and go to universal marker lights kits, click on that  and you will see them, they also come in other variatons, carbon fiber, clear etc....  If you have any more questions hit me up.  The back was a direct bolt in.  The front took a very simple modification.  Flip the plastic fitted washer to the outside, and I had to go to the hardware store to buy a large vinyl washer for the inside to hold the signal.  Looks factory when it's done which is good because it keeps the cops from hassleing you also!  You also have to make new electrical connections obviously, which is super simple......They are about 1/3 of the size of the factory signals and are totally legal as far as I know....

There's a pic of the front during install.  Obviously on your left is stock and on your right is the new ones.  These signals look MUUUUCCCCHH better than stock, but are still very visible out on the road.  Anyone wanna buy my stock signals off my brand new bike?
