Title: 93 GS500 For Sale
Post by: crashdevil13 on July 01, 2009, 02:04:57 PM
I REALLY hate to put this up for sale but I have moved up to a GSXR600.  This GS was my first motorcycle and has been well cared for.  I purchased this with just a few more than 4k miles and have since ridden it to the 11k it has now.  It has no issues that I know of.

A quick list of mods:

Custom Paint (Blue, hint of purple, metallic, flat clear coat)
Full Yosh exhaust, recently sandblasted and painted pipes. (Can is a little scratched and has a couple of dents though)
K&N Lunchbox
Buddah's Jets
VERY recent tires (Michelins!)
Motul Fluids every season
Low profile mirrors
Short turn signals
Trimmed mudflap
Dual Headlight conversion w/angel eyes
Superbike handlebars

A list of spares/extras:

Original Handlebars
Original Headlight
Original Turn Signals
Clymer Manual
Front Disc Lock

I am in Auburn, Alabama and willing to deliver to the Atlanta or Birmingham areas.  I would like to sell it for $1600 and I am in no particular rush to do so.  I may be willing to negotiate a little for fellow GS'rs.  I travel a LOT for work since I am in the auto racing biz.  I can arrange to bring this with me to several major race track across the US at no cost!

Good bike, price is fine too should be good.
Put it on other places, like CL - cos you guessed it, this place has a lot of people, but not that many in the 200 mile circle they can get it from.
That is why all my brilliant inventions are like ... I sell 10 and that is it. If it wont go in a mail box, its nearly useless.
Cool.
Buddha.

Wished you lived closer to NJ. This would be a perfect bike for my GF!

That style GSXR was by far the sweetest style sportbike ever made. I wish they made a 1000 in that style...

Yeah, I have always really liked the SRAD GSXR's.  This one was in boxes and missing the entire body/subframe/gas tank when I found it.  But the price was right and I was able to find all of the parts I needed via ebay and craigslist to get it on the road again.  It has been a HUGE job but very fun (and the bike is fast too!)

I have had a lot of interest in the GS500 but nobody has sent a deposit yet.  It is posted on a few craigslists but I would prefer to send it to a good GS'r home!

The bike has been delivered to a new home and the new owner will be joining the boards here soon!

Thanks for all of the interest in it.  Also, thanks to everyone who lent their advice as I was working on the bike.
