i'm still having idle problems. after reaching operating temp the idle is hanging in/around 3k to 4k. i have checked my boots for leaks-they're ok, also throttle routing/adj and that's ok. i've read several posts on adjusting the mixture screws, but (and this may be a stupid question) i can't locate the mixture screws. idle screw no problem, but looking over the carb assy i can't locate them. can anyone point me in the general direction (on the standard exploded view on parts fiche and in my clymer manual nothing shows these screws).
thanks.
It is No31, but it will probably be pluged with No36, so you will have to drill it a bit.

I don't think the the hanging problem has anything to do with the pilot screw thought.. :icon_confused:
If your throttle cable is ok, as you say, check the choke cable. It stuck on me once.
Bottom side of the carbs in a small round well like shae with a brass cap on it. If that cap not been drilled out, you wont see it.
These 2 make a proper wide shaped V with that idle screw on the under side of the carbs. These are closer to the motor ...
Cool.
