Never had one go, so I'll bet you have misdiagnosed it.
Post the symptoms. Might save you the trouble of swapping one out and still having the same problem.
BTW I have one that has the wires cut, you can color match it and put your wires in ... its yours free if it is the problem. If it is, I'll even ship to you free. I am in US, but I send crap to canadia all the time.
