i recently purchased a 2007 gs500f....YAY :D i rode it for about 2 months no problems...YAY. Today i droped it. ruined my left fairing, broke my left mirror, bent the mount to my headlight, and bent my handle bars. lucky me i didnt get hurt but now i need some help and advice on how to go about fixing this. what i would like to do is just strip it down and turn it in to like something like a gs500 e model more of a street fighter. but i cant find the head light mount anywhere on line. so needless to say im in the market for some parts. if someone can point me in the right direction it would be a huge help. i am down for any advice and suggestions please let me know what you all think is the best way to proceed
thanks all
You may have found this link already, Alpha did a great job of showing his GSF to GSE conversion with pics:

Here's one showing mounting the GSF headlight on a conversion to E:

Keep searching and you'll find lots of help.
You can just but cheap headlight brackets on ebay for about $15, or just go to the hardware store and see what you can come up with. You could probably make some out of a $10 aluminum strip and some rubber from a bicycle inner tube, which I debated doing, just twist it around something, bend the ends straight and drill them.
You can find cheap bars all over ebay, but if you want your bike to look sweet I'd recommend some renthal's or pro-tapers, something like that.
You could remount your headlight I'm sure, or if you really want the 500e look you'd have to find a normal bucket light, but I'd just try to work with what you have. That should really be all you need to get it working again. I bet someone here has an extra set of stock headlight mounts from an old GS if you ask around as well.
my best suggestion is just to look around and see what you like. There are many different styles of street fighter front ends. Some headlights from auto zone do the trick for me . . . .

but I do have the stock headlight layin around that I just so happen to not be using if you really want a stock one.
thanks for the help. those post with the conversion steps are very helpful.
