Trying to change the front brake pads on a 2007 Gs500f.
Anyone have any tips when doing this? And the torque specs? I'm looking for a manual for a 07' but can't find any ;(
Torque specs for what :icon_confused: ? You don't really have to remove the caliper to change the pads. Just pull the retainer clips and pins; slid the old pads out and put new pads in. Might want to bleed the system and put in fresh fluid also O0
My brother said "I think he's (referring to you) talking about the back brakes and not the front ones...Are you talking about the front or back replacement
?
Let's see here
Front brake caliper mounting bolts........ 30-48Nm
Front brake disc retaining bolts .............18-28 Nm
Front brake master cylinder clamp bolts ..8-12 Nm
Does that help. If not I may be able to rehost the manual :dunno_white:

It'd be nice if you could...I was going to buy one but seeing as I'm not going to have the gs very much longer there is really no point.
If I have time I will try to get it rehosted tonight! Will need your e-mail however to send you the info!
