Post by: Canonball on July 25, 2009, 11:05:13 AM
i've been looking for some type of place that i could rent out or something to play my drums because i can't play them in my townhouse (neighbors on the other side of the wall and such), and i hate not being able to play them. anyone heard of anything like this?

Sell the wood and buy Rolland V-Drums  :icon_mrgreen:

Electronic would probably be the way to go. You may be able to get space at a music store if you offer lessons or something in return? Hit up jam nights at the local bars? Join a band and play at their house  :icon_twisted:

Im lucky, I own a double house. We have the studio set up on the otherside: Drums, 2 guitar rigs, 1 bass rig, monitors, PA, Sound board, PC w/ Adobe Audition and its own Kitchen for BEER, 2 beds and a bath

yeah this idea seemed kinda cooky. anyway thanks for the replies, i'm just gonna have to wait until i get another place thats more drum friendly. I refuse to play electronic drums... i'm not even going to get into that. I've thought about the storage unit idea, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't last too long, i would love to play for a band and that would help my situation but unfortunately everyone i know who plays is either in a band already or live way too far away. i appreciate the offer toogoofy but i don't know that my wife would like that, plus we have good jobs here and we've already decided if we move we're getting the hell out of Florida, ugh i can't stand this heat anymore  >:(

Tis why i dont like townhouses or apartments. cause you HAVE to share a wall with someone, or a ceiling/floor/both/all, maybe look into perhaps renting a home wiht like minded individuals or a trailer even?
