Oh hell no. Not even.

You want American? Rouge, Stone, Live Oak, Independence, North Coast, Deschutes, Lagunitas, Bear Republic, Real Ale, (512) Brewing, Victory, Ommegang, Cambridge Brewing Company, Avery, and about 18 dozen others.

Belhaven for me.

Belhaven makes some enjoyable stuff. Their Wee Heavy is good in beer bread. I am currently enjoying the Old Rasputin imperial Russian stout by North Coast. Mmmmmmmm

A MudSlide. Yeah I'm a whoose I like alcoholic drinks that don't taste like alcohol. I usually only drink once or twice a year. My birthday which I didn't do this year rode to the beach and back and during Epcot Food & Wine Celebration.

The ICE Champaign my oh my $20 for a small flute and COLD but it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I will also have their Cognac from France now that is some tough stuff. Actually, my "drinking" friend couldn't handle it! Bull's Blood at the Russian stop WOW! Then a litttle Guiness in Ireland, some Sake in Japan, think the Don was in Italy. This is done in like a 10 hour time period. Then all of the Food. Best bring a couple of Benjamin's to really enjoy this!

Boy I really sound like an alcoholic ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I'd like to. Just don't have the financial set up, space, or time currently. Once I actually get a place lined up after grad school I most definitely will. No idea what I want to brew up first though.

Its actually NOT that financially taxing...cost me about $125 for the setup (two glass carboys, bottling bucket, tubing, air locks, funnel and screen, brushes, bottle capper)..probably another $50 for stuff that I bought to make it easier (large kettle, large plastic spoons, hops bag, etc).

Lay in a supply of non-screw top bottles, you're good to go.

It costs somewhere between $25 and $50 locally to make 5 gallons, which works out to between $0.40 and $0.95 per beer, which is a nudge more expensive than Natural Light and its ilk, but substantially less expensive than something decent.  Plus, you can make whatever style, flavor, etc. you want.

In Florida its legal to brew at home, provided you're not selling it and you make less than 50 gallons a year.

Something makes me really like a nice cold Natti, although I can drink it hot and flat too. A taste I gained after many many beer pong games.
50 gallons?  What do you drink after all that is gone?

Ales are actually usually better at room temperature...chilling them causes the loss of some of the flavor....which could be a good thing, depending on what you're drinking.

It's rare for me to hit 50 gals in a year.  I'll usually brew a spring batch, summer batch, fall batch, and maybe one more in there, something different like the mead I made last year.

Well, when you're a college student, $125 is a pretty serious investment. It also takes time and space that I don't have. Like I said, once I get an actual place of my own after I graduate (again), I'll definitely be doing it.
