Title: Clutch lever perch
Post by: kmc_90GS500 on October 06, 2003, 06:54:55 AM
Well it appears that when the bike I got for my wife was in the front end accident the clutch cabe was ripped from the perch.  When it did this the adjusting nut was ripped out stripping the threads in the perch.

Does anyone know what clutch perchs from other models/years of bikes will be a like replacement for the GS500?  GS 500 clutch perch's are hard to come by.  You people are too fast on the dibs for me.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

just about anything will work as long as it fits your bar.  i had to use a perch from a yamaha for a little while until i found one that worked properly.  only thing that may present a problem is the idiot switch inside the clutch.  i now am using one from a bandit and the only difference is the angle of the lever and the adjustment.
