Title: I have a question for the mechanically inclined folks of GSTWIN.com
Post by: jonathanneely on August 01, 2009, 02:26:47 PM
I'm riding an 07 GS500F, silver/black, and I'm loving it. I'm wanting to put a new canister on my bike but I don't want to go with a full system cause I just don't have $400 to throw down on one. I'm not a big fan of the Vance & Hines b/c I think it's a little too small. I like the Jardine and TRS slip on but that's just too much $$$.

Here's my question: will (any) slip work for this bike? I've read the wiki answers so I know that side of it but for you mechanically inclined folks out there (I'm not one of them) can I purchase any slip-on for any sportbike and make it work?    :icon_question::dunno_white: :icon_question:

The easiest is to find a canister that can be slipped onto the GS header pipe.  Then you use a pipe clamp and clamp her down.  I've got an D&D from an R6 that I'm selling for $90.

I've gotta take better pics though...  pics up later.

Sorry kiddo, things dont melt in the rain ... they dissolve. Things like marshmallows also dont melt in hot choclate ... they too dissolve, the heat makes them dissolve faster. Somehtings cannot ever melt ... like salt ... it will dissolve readily ...
Cool.

Another Google factiod for redhenracing2:

When most people think of Dr. Pepper, anal sex is the last thing on their minds. However, in the late 1980s as HIV was peaking in growth amongst the ghey community, homosexual scientists explored options for cleaning anuses prior to penile intrusion. Dr. Pepper, with its medical branding, high carbonation, and acidic pH was an obvious choice for a sort of anal aperitif for removing crusty fecal chunks and retroviruses alike.

While initial clinical studies involving homosexual men engaging in anonymous unprotected anal sex showed that men who douched with Dr. Pepper enjoyed a 27% lower chance of contracting HIV and a 34% higher chance of getting their "salads tossed", the same men were over twice as likely to become obese and over three times as likely to contract diabetes. This was doubly true for the kids and teenagers taking place in the study who fell prey to the juvenile version of diabetes. In 2007 the FDA banned the use of Dr. Pepper in ghey sex and sodomites world wide have since adopted similar sexual practices using Pepsi, Mellow Yellow, and other soft drinks marketed towards the homosexual community.

By the way nice cover! LMAO!

Ooooo ... very very nice ... they use molten salt for some chemical process, some purification of some metal too ... very very nice paulcet.

Now as soon as I see rain hitting the ground at 801*C, and the ground warms up and hit 801*c and it drieds off, I'll definetly throw some salt on it immediately and watch it melt.

But, till then, sheite that dissolves will not be called "melt" ... say that word and I know how "educated" you are ... like many people claim ... its not the southern drawl that makes people think you're stupid, its the word "melt" ... in fact its "melded" as its said that makes people think you're stupid.

Cool.

Haha no its cool man, I was gonna change it anyway because I don't have the Dr. Pepper logo anymore. Replaced it with one off a Monster can when I repainted it

Unless I'm getting paid, I'm not advertising on my bike.  If someone wanted to sponsor me, then I'll put their logos on there.

Well it all started when the bike went down and scraped off the standard suzuki logo that covers the hole in the stator cover. I didn't want that hole left unoccupied (*that's what she said) so I grabbed a rivet gun and a sheet of old tin. Then at the last moment I decided I might as well personalize it if I was gonna do anything. So I cut up a Dr. Pepper can to put that logo on there. Since it started to fade I replaced it when I repainted the bike. When the monster logo starts to fade I'll have to come up with something even better to put there. What's better than Monster?
