If you like baseball and haven't been following the Oakland/Red Sox series you missed one hell of a series. Best I ever saw.
its all about the cubs, wrigleyville has been one big party all week
Hell yeah  Wish I was back at Fenway to see a Sox/Yanks alcs game (grew up around Boston and saw one of the rivalry games when I was back in town a couple years ago). Felt a little weird rooting against the local team, but boy can you believe all those plays they gave up on (and *shoving* the catcher without tagging home? - dumba$$).
Having also lived in Chicago, I'm rooting for Cubs v. Sox (of course the bosox have to win): it'll be the curse of the bambino vs. the curse of the goat!
GO CUBS!!!!! Wrigleyville all the way
as a cub fan who grew up in new england, i'm in heaven. best lcs matchups ever. EVER. go cubs. go sox.
It's baseball season?

Umm its hockey season now. :thumb:
Go Patriots!
:P
Here's to a BoSox/Cubs World Series!
Almost makes it okay that i'll have to put the GS in hibernation pretty soon.
As a Mariner fan, I think the season ought to be shortened a bit. About 6 weeks should do. ;)

DA CUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!used to live in chicago. been cubs fan all of life! :bs: :nana:
They arrested a few zealous fans Monday night and I was sorry I missed it. Two 20-year-old twins were taken in for "flashing kenmore" after climbing over the gates and into the stadium. I say we ride our bikes up to Fenway when the sox play the yankees this weekend and make some noise when the sox sweep the series :thumb: Yankees suck :nana:

sorry had to write anotherone in there for good measure  i was in phoenix working. watched game 7 w/ a telescope and a radio. d-backs&yanks (was a guard in a bank) while i was a student at mmi  thus are the perks of a rent-a-cop. job usually sucks, but locations are usually cool :thumb:

Thats why we don't have a football team. To many artsy, fartsy, people. :nana: Oh wait, I am one of them

Red Sox all the way in 2004!
:guns: Yankees
not a baseball fan, but lreally wish the SOX won istead of the damn Yankes
GO MARLINS!
If I can't have the sox or the cubs... I pick the marlins... Hmmm anyone notice a trend?
After years and years of failure, you would think the Red Sox would learn their place in the world (aka losers, second place, just not good enough) :) I think the Yankees exist just to lay the smack down on the Sox whenever they get to uppity! Some people gotta learn to know their role and bow down :P
Mind you, I don't really care for baseball. Seen a grand total of 1 game at Yankee Stadium and 1 game at Fenway. But it sure was amusing watching the highlights on Sportscenter!
Good thing hockey season is staring up (Go Bruins!)
Looks like I have nothing to look forward to since the Cubs and Red Sox lost, what a joke. :bs:

There's plenty of roads that need some riding on! You'd think it was the end of the world the way you said that ;)
