So, you would still need the tripple trees, wheel, brakes etc... ? what else am I missing?
Yes, from a katana you will need a buddha modified triple tree, axle, bars, master, calipers, lines, and rotors.
From the stock GS you will reuse your wheel, speedo drive, and wheel spacer.
The easiest way is to buy a whole front end. I couldn't for the life of me find a complete front end that was in good shape. I guess all the good ones are gone by now. I ended up piecing one together from parts individually. That way I could pick and choose the best parts.
