My 1997 GS500E. 12,000 miles. Good tires/chains/sprockets/battery. fresh go thru on carbs by the Buddha. Very clean, everything works great.
refitted with 89' clip-ons w/bar end mirrors, but also have the stock cap/bars/mirrors. has a Ventura rack system with rear bag set-up (top loop of luggage rack removes, you replace it with the bag, locks in place with knurled screws. also have clymer manual, 2 spare oil filters, 1 set of fork seals (haven't gotten around to replacing). throwing in a near new full face helmet in almost spot-on match to bike color.
i gave $2000 for bike last sept, bike has been great, but need a larger bike for my wife and i to do some light to moderate touring.
oh yeah, almost forgot i have the "project" SpecII fairing (fiberglass) that i got from werase. only missing 2 small brackets, the major brackets are there and freshly powder coated black, plus full set of stainless steel allen head screws/washers/nuts for assembling cowling. fairing is 85% ready, all repair work done, just needs primered and whatever top coat someone wanted to lay on it..
anyways, anyone have a good "ball park" figure for what she'd be worth? need to sell pretty fast, as i have a potential bike lined up.
