Title: Gauge cluster fitament Question
Post by: tucsondude on September 02, 2009, 07:35:16 PM
ok I need a new speedometer, cover(6), and metal bracket thing(11). I have a 95 gs, and was wondering if i could use the whole assembly off a 2007.

from my searching i believe they eliminated the tach cable on 04 and later, could I swap my old tachometer over and screw my cable in? does anyone know of any other differences?

Thanks

ok I found some more information in this thread:

My main concern is in regards to tachometer compatibility, this thread makes it appear it would be fairly easy to convert from mechanical to electrical.

It is not clear which wires were used for the tachometer, could someone help me out?
Any one know if any new wires would need to be ran?
Does anyone else think there was no additional hardware besides the gauge cluster?

Thanks
