Done a couple of searching, and found out that drz400 has the same type of carbs as the 2001+ models. 
Soooo....

May I present the....

I know, it is marked in another photo but I don't think I've seen it in our carbs, so I left it out.
It's on top of the carburator, under the diaphragm.

And here is where the pilot air jet is in those carburetors.
(This image is from XF650 freewind, which even has the valve lift control as 2001+, so anyone interested in it check it out)
