What price do you think I'd be able to get for an 04 Suzuki GS 500 F with about 8500 miles on it? The bike has a reconstructed title that it's had since I bought it, due to damage to the plastics. The plastics we're all repaired (but there is still some cosmetic damage done to them). The engine and everything else is in great condition, runs great. I put new flushmount front turn signals on it, and it has a new 150/70-17 avon rear tire.
the title is the problem -
no title = 1/3 of what fair market is
rebuilt = 1/2 or so, and forget about state to state stuff. no one will buy out of state cause states are stupid about rebuilt stuff.
It depends how ugly the damage is. Undamaged I'd say $2000-$2500. Without seeing it and with the salvage title, I'd say you're in the $1000-$1500 territory.
