and i pick up my new member of the fams this weekend im sooo excited to once again mod
free:
rearsets
gsxr shock
tail section
front end
and a box of odds and ends
now my question is.... what exactly needs to be done to the stem of the gsxr front end for it to fit correctly buddah i would assume you know something about this matter? maybe not..
please all and any response will be greatly appriciated... and anything i do not use will be put into a donation thread once i pick threw my needed parts

Make a whole new stem.
Make sleeves for the top triple.
Put a big ass washer on top.
Thread that stem on top of the washer to cinch down on the top triple.
I can do this on my GS frame and send you a perfect one if you send me the triples only.
Cost ... unknown ... have to do it one time to know.
And,
Forget about getting a GS guage set on it or getting the ignition lock on it.
BTW these fit an SV1000 so perfectly, the whole kit and kaboodle works like a charm. Igntion lock, steering stop, SV 1K brake rotors in the radials on the GSXR legs.
Cool.
Buddha.
didn't dgyver have an already modified 96 or something GSXR stem for sale in his parts parts parts. Wonder if it's the right year?
how about one day i just come to you with everything and we build a bad ass street machine.. ?
anyway why cant i use the stock gs stem can you elaborate more. and what would your ballpark numbers be ?
and... i dont have a sv 1k
