Title: junk yard GSX600f
Post by: Jlittle on September 11, 2009, 09:27:59 AM
Well at my local junk/salvage yard i found a early 90s gsx600f that i grabbed the rear shock off for my 05 gs.  Amazing upgrade, i was reading through the wiki and saw that the forks could be used also.  Anyone know of anything else i can strip off this thing and use to improve performance of my GS?

Upper and lower triples, fork legs, brakes = disk and calipers and master cyl and axle ... Then modify the stem (I'd trade ya a machined stem for 50 bucks and your stem) and I'd make (working on that too ... sheesh) guage carriers and fit the GS guages on.
Anyway, its all standard ... well published ones.
The kat carbs have a lot of parts that would fit a GS, but that is it. All else is different for the 2.
Cool.
