Title: Solved>Swapped bars = No left turn signals
Post by: abnoea on September 14, 2009, 08:58:18 AM
Its about as simple as the title says. I swapped my bars (from clubman to european) and after I got everything on and the grips glued down i took her for a spin to find out that my left turn signals don't work anymore.  The right signals blink and cancel just fine, but when I try the left nothing happens, the green light doesn't even blink. I'm know from the given situation that my problem lies withing the left hand switch, but other than that I haven't got a clue.

It sounds like when you moved the switch from one bar to the other something happened to make the switch make no contact on the left side. your gonna have to take it apart and make sure every thing is in good order. be careful because inside the switch is small springs and contacts. go slow and be observant, you'll get it fixed.

The black cable had come disconnected. Just a matter of opening it up and re soldering
