WORKS shock. Very nice condition. 5 months old. Less than 3k miles. Like new other than some scratches on the reservoir from mounting clamps. Racetech built it custom for a 180lb aggressive street rider. The spring they mounted on there is rated 450lb/inch which is probably better suited for someone around 160lbs, though. The shock overall length is 11.75 inches (Same as Kat 750, near a 1/2 inch longer than stock). It will raise your tail up about an inch. Totally different league compared to Kat and GSXR. Smooth and drama free on the street. Planted and responsive on the track. No modifications necessary to fit. Bolts right in. I paid $440 for this. I'll sell it for $275
WORKS 600lb/inch spring. Bought from works last month. Was planning on experimenting with a stiffer rate spring. I had to dial in quite a bit of preload with the 450lb/inch spring. Comes with correct adapters to fit the shock. It measures exactly long enough to fit the shock body, but might require some brute force to get it on there. It is a much larger diameter than the 450lb/inch spring and will require lots of swingarm grinding to fit. I never got around to trying it so I can't guarantee if/how it will work. I paid $125. FREE WITH SHOCK
90 aluminum GS500E linkage. Fits all years. Oooooh...shiny..... FREE WITH SHOCK

With this shock (even if you're 205 with gear like me) you can do this...

Price doesn't include shipping. Will give a refund if you are unsatisfied. I'm parting out an entire bike so if you need something I probably have it.
oh my god.....if only i werent 220 w/ gear
So your saying that the spring on it now would work for a 200 lb rider? Is this without gear? If so, I would be interested. How much to ship to 44203?

The spring on there now will work but you will have to run quite a bit more preload than ideal to do that. That's not the greatest way to set up a suspension. 180lbs is fine...200lbs without gear is kind of pushing it.
Whatever didn't sell is going on Ebay on wednesday. I hate ebay fees so if someone is interested in any of this before then, we might be able to work out a good deal.
