Seems like the perfect do-everything jacket while still looking good. Its a fine choice, I'm glad you will now have some proper protection.

That's a good looking jacket. I love waterproof gear. I'm sure the baseball cap pocket was your deciding factor though...  :dunno_white:

+1 to the baseball cap pocket being the deciding factor.

I have never even heard of that feature before on a jacket and actually find it kinda funny that it was something that someone actually thought about and incorporated into the design of the jacket.  Best way to avoid being seen with helmet hair when arriving at your destination is to pull out a baseball cap from it's own special pocket.

Nice jacket.  I think I'll pick one up myself.  I just went to the website and the price is right.  I do like the exterior armor and chest padding.

Ok, I just ordered mine in yellow.  Not that I have a yellow bike but I think the jacket will be high viz enough that they will let me on base without using that reflective orange vest.  Thanks inexplicable718 for the lead on the jacket.

I have this exact jacket (yellow) also from Newenough (a great place to buy motorcycle stuff).  Did you try out the vents yet?  I use it with the liner on cold days and without on hot days.  Those elbows are great for hurting your friends (whack).  :icon_mrgreen: I also purchased yellow gloves from Newenough (check out their selection of gloves in the closeout section).  A pair of red ones would look really great with your new jacket.  That neck clip is kind of a pain as I'm always forgetting about it.

I rode in today with it on.  It's getting cool here in Connecticut and this jacket is perfect for the morning commute.  I also like the style of it - I think that it makes you look kinda 'bad'.  Excuse me, are you talkin to me?  I said, are you talkin to me?  Maybe I'll just run you over with my motorcycle... :icon_twisted:

It's a nice jacket.  I hope that you like yours when you get it.  It will turn you 'bad'.  Don't forget the gloves.  Get a good pair of gloves.  I have two pairs.  One is the Tecnik Violator gloves  - very good quality - $75, and a pair of Icons - I forget the model $80,  both from Newenough.

Ride safe...

Kevlar jeans. Got em from http://bikersgearaustralia.com

Under my jacket I also wear a Kevlar shirt from http://www.dragginjeans.net/product/k-shirt

Gloves (See pic below): Summer I wear RJays (on left - made with Goat Skin the hardest wearing "leather") and also have a pair of Deer Skin gloves (2nd hardest wearing behind Goat skin) from http://www.chilhowee.net/motorcycle-gloves/GL-IM001.html for the Cooler Summer days where it is a tad too hot for the winter gloves but too cool for the airflow summer gloves.

Winter I wear the Dri Rider (right) or the Deer Skin (bottom) also from http://www.chilhowee.net/motorcycle-gloves/GL-IM008.html

Uhm, why did you delete the link?

Make sure after you wear it a while to write up a review in the Wiki!

Well the best way is to just go bald like me then you never have to worry about hair...it's overrated anyway.
