Title: bandit 400 interchangability
Post by: brianut on October 03, 2009, 09:16:41 PM
have a lead on a possible deal on a bandit 400. If the guy doesnt get what he wants he says he will part it.
I told him if he didnt accept my offer for the whole bike and parted it that I wanted the rear wheel.

It also got me to thinking that since the bandit rotor on the front is on the left and the gs on the right, could I use the left tube and caliper disk etc to make mine a double disk?
this of course would only work if they are the same size forks but thiking that they are both smaller bikes made by Suzuki that maybe it would work.

why not a Kat FE says you?

I have gold valves and heavy springs,

and if the diameter is the same for triple clamp compatability the next question would be wether or not my fork internals would swap?

anybody know?
I cant seem to find out the size of bandit 400 forkss in all of my interweb searching.

B4 is 39, larger than GS.
Fender carrier is different too.
Cool.
