hey all,
so i recently swapped an 04 motor intomy 95 frame. so far most of my questions have been answered by previous posts, like the signal generator and oil cooler problems
but there is still one irking problem
there are hoses sticking out the front of the cylinder. these hoses are referred to in the microfiche as the 2nd air tube... which connect to the 2nd air reed, i'm assuming these are emissions equipment for air injection?
anyways, i was wondering how i could remove said equipment without negatory effects to my motor.
i was thinking of just blocking them off with some gasketed plates, or leaving it open?
responses are apreciated
thanks in advance
any help would be appreciated, im trying to get this whole rig going by tomorrow
Frame has nothing to do with hoses. You need to get a hose routing diagram off the new type and follow it.
But in general, vacuum hoses should be capped or sent to the right location - AKA petcock.
vent hoses should be left un pligged or sent to the right location, I think one goes to canister from carbs and one go to the air box from the motor.
Fuel lines need to go to the right locations obviously.
Cool.
Buddha.
