Ok, I know it's sad that I can't work out how to post pictures from my computer(or anywhere in fact)on to this site. Could someone please let me know how it is done.
Thanks
Andy
So there is a pic online somewhere. maybe your Flickr. maybe your photobucket. maybe somewhere else like this one http://www.cyclegear.com/images/oil/motul_5100_4t_10w40_LG.jpg
So have a look above the emoticons. There are some other icons. One on left looks like flower(http://gstwins.com/gsboard/Themes/BlackTechSMF1/images/bbc/flash.gif), next is a Picture frame(http://gstwins.com/gsboard/Themes/BlackTechSMF1/images/bbc/img.gif). So you click that and it gives you an IMG tag
[img][/img]
Between the IMG tags you put the URL of the image
[img]http://www.cyclegear.com/images/oil/motul_5100_4t_10w40_LG.jpg[/img]
It then comes out like this...
Hope this helps,
Michael
Thanks for that michael,
Does this mean that I can't down load photo's from my computer? I don't have a photo bucket or similar, just what I have on my computer that I have downloaded from my camara.
Cheers

Yes, that's what it means.
I had to set up a flickr account to post photos here. It's really easy and will probably take you less than 5 minutes. You create a login and password and load whatever pictures you want directly from your computer to flickr. then you link like mister said. flickr is easy, free, and it's part of yahoo if it matters. Wow, I sound like a commercial.
It is kind of annoying that we have to do this, though.
Andy,
I tested this on another thread so know it works....
You can get yourself a photobucket account and then Email pics from your phone to the account. Like say you're out riding or whatnot and see something. You whip out your cell phone, take a snap then email it to your photobucket account. When you get back home you can post it into the forum. No need for a card reader or special cable to plug your phone into the computer to retrieve the pic.
Sending an image to Twitpic, while that does work, Twitpic does not allow Hotlinking the image to elsewhere. Whereas, Photobucket is designed for that.
Michael
thanks a lot for that guy's.
I'll have a go at setting up a Photobucket account later and see if I can get some pic's posted at some point.
Cheers
