Title: What kind of bike is this?
Post by: tussey on October 13, 2009, 03:33:18 PM
I saw it parked outside a gas station. A guy came out, started it and promptly drove off. Sounded like a small lawn mower engine or something.

I have no idea what that is!  It looks Italian to me, but that's just a guess.  Maybe a Cagiva?

When I first saw the picture, the wheels screamed "Tomos!" at me, but I'd never seen one that looked like that. However, I quick google search revealed the answer (I think). A Tomos LX in "Classic Black". Here is a link to the pics:

Oh man, I almost won that one. It was the back of the seat that stuck out to me. I have an older Tomos moped, but it's bright green, and is the standard girls bicycle shape of moped, instead of the mini motorcycle style.
