Title: Need head rebuild - machine shop suggestions please
Post by: Agent4573 on October 15, 2009, 08:27:56 AM
Hey guys,

I already tried contacting Bill Bune enterprises (www.billbune.com) about this, but its been a few days and I haven't gotten a response, so I'm looking for another source to rebuild the head on the GS500E. It burns about a quart of oil a week through the head, so it needs to be done pretty bad. I'm looking for someone that can do new seats, guides, oil seals, valves, 3-angle valve job, etc. Who do you recommend for the service, and do they supply thier own parts or do I need to buy all the parts and ship with the head?

Thanks.

I have had a local shop do this ... except they have not done guides for me so far. The rest - yea really good work.
Cool.
