I thought that the snow we were about to get a week ago looked like it could have made the state drop some salt on the roads. I changed the oil and washed it up for storage. My question to all is, I know that clean oil is probably good for the bike when it goes into storage, but will 250 miles really hurt it over winter? :dunno_white: My tendency is to say no it wont hurt it at all, but I am curious what others think here. I would hate to have to change the oil just to be able to ride it for another week. I will remember this next year and not get it ready before the first big snow storm.
250 miles? no if my bike isnt ready for an oil change before winter it doesnt get one until it gets the miles it needs for the il change 250 miles wont hurt dont waste the money to change the oil if you ride it. but actually if you go by the book your sposta fill the crank case right to the top for winter so your really not doing anything by just changing the oil anyways.
