Good luck finding a dealership that even has any left. They were selling 1125s for $6200 and XBs for close to $4000 last week, if not the week before, I can't remember when it started.
Yeah, a guy on the Hawk GT mailing list got a 1125CR for $5800 OTD
I'm sure they're all gone, but I think I'm gonna take a ride out to the Buell dealership this Saturday to see if they've got an XB9 to sit on. A $4000 bike would go for $111 a month on a 36 month loan. That's a pretty good deal. I'd like to pay cash so I can just get liability on the insurance, but I could deal for a new bike.
PLUS the xbs series uses sportster/evo parts too so parts supply will NEVER be an issue. ive built up a few of buells offerings while in AZ, easy as pie :police:
Two years ago I briefly took a look at the Buell line when I was shopping for a new bike. I still get upset when I think about what a great chance HD had to make a genuine, innovative, quality American sportbike with the backing of a major manufacturer and then produced this line of Buells that they have to practically give away to get out the doors. Sad, really.
I went to the local HD dealer yesterday to see what kind of deals were available for the Buells. They still had about ten buells left but they weren't giving any more of a discount other then the $3K offered by HD factory. Nothing was below $6800, and we're talking XB9s. They even had an XB12XT that they had put on sale for $10K prior to the HD factory incentive but the sale price didn't change after the incentive. $3K off of MSRP isn't enough for me to buy a Buell so I'll wait.

Yeah, especially considering Harley is offering $5k rebates. That's only if they continue to offer service and all that, which they must not be doing, but that's why they're still sitting there.
