Ok, so I'm trying to look for the spec. clearance for the exhaust and intake in my manual, but can only find exhaust(0.03-0.08 mm). Is it the same as intake?
Also, I just got done measuring my clearances: 0.07 mm for both intakes and 0.36 mm for both exhuasts. Should I replace shims?

Typo or incredibly loose exhaust valves? 0.36mm and 0.036mm are very different. If 0.36mm, you might wanna swap shims there, yes. The 0.07mm is fine, leave it alone. 0.036mm would be fine, but you'd want to make sure you didn't leave it a long time before the next valve check.
Intake and exhaust clearances are the same, AFAIK.
Oops I forgot to ad a '0'
It's 0.036mm for the exhuast valves, and yes I double checked them too, and gave it a couple turns to pump the "buckets" full of oil before measuring.
Just to confirm what DoD#i said, the intake and exhaust clearances are the same...just checked the suzi manual.
Put it back together and ride ride ride!
Alright will do, just getting her ready for a Vegas trip. So I'm making sure everything is working right. Next is fixing some oil leaks and doing a oil changed. Thanks yall :thumb:
if you are ordering parts and you have the cash, you might want to consider 2x .05mm thinner shims for the exhaust valves to get them to 0.08mm clearence.
through research on here it seems to me that the larger the clearence on the exhaust side the better, to allow for the exhaust valve itself getting hot therefor expansion.
Ant.
Ok, yeah I got some extra cash, I'll look into it. I wonder how much they run?
