so I replaced my front brakes around September and I put in organic pads and as of now looks like they are about half through maybe a little less. Is it normal to wear that fast? Am i just to hard on the brakes? or is it the pad? oh ya and i ride everyday to commute. thanks
How many miles have they been on there? That's a better determinant of wear than time.

I'm with baltimore. Also, When you put the pads on, did...
1. you lube the caliper slides.
2. the pistons compress freely and easily.
3. you buy cheap off brand pads instead of spending the money for premium stuff.
4. you make sure the rotor was flat.
5. you make sure there was no corrosion on the brake lever pivot or master/lever pivot that would cause the brakes to stick.
If you can say yes to everything and don't ride with your finger resting on the brake at all times, then I would guess it's normal. That's just my opinion.

I put around 2000 miles on them and everything was fine when i installed them no sticking, rotor was flat, everything was smooth...still have no problems with them just wondering why it seems like they're going away pretty fast...my first bike so all i have to compare it to is my car
